چکیده

Objectives: To investigate the antibacterial activity and photo-catalytic efficacy of CuNPs synthesized from Lentinus squarrosulus used for degradation commercial textile dyes. Methods: The Copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) were biosynthesized using L. squarrosulus, a new fungal isolate dead trunk N. odorum. production copper mycoextract was simple environmentally friendly, yielding stable in variety shapes. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDAX analysis have all been to establish that successfully formed. Findings: research findings present study show absorption spectra around 300 350 nm UV-vis followed by presence FT-IR peaks at 3680cm

Photocatalytic Degradation of Safranin ‎Dye from Aqueous Solution Using Nickel ‎Nanoparticles Synthesized by Plant ‎Leaves

In this paper, a facile and eco-friendly method for the preparation of Ni nanoparticles (Ni NPs) has been described based on the bioreduction of aqueous Ni(II) precursors with Phlomis cancellata Bunge extract. UV-visible spectrum of the aqueous medium containing Ni nanoparticles showed a peak of 390 nm. Since the experimental conditions of this procedure play vital roles in the synthesis...

Photocatalytic dye degradation properties of Zinc Copper Ferrites nanoparticles

In the present study, new multi-components spinel ferrite Zinc doped metallic ferrites are investigated. The synthesized compounds consisting of Zinc copper ferrite nanostructures were developed using the Co-precipitation technique. Powder X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD) confirms the formation of the spinel phase for all the samples. The lattice constant was studied through powder X-ray diffrac...

Lentinus squarrosulus (Mont.) mycelium enhanced antioxidant status in rat model

AIM Lentinus squarrosulus is an edible wild mushroom commonly found in Asia. This species has several interesting features such as rapid mycelial growth, and hence has the potential to be used as food, functional food, and nutraceuticals. Our previous study shows that L. squarrosulus contains potent antioxidant compounds in vitro. This study aims to investigate the in vivo bioavailability of L....

Antimicrobial Activity and Photocatalytic Degradation Properties of Zinc Sulfide Nanoparticles Synthesized by Using Plant Extracts

Biological synthesis of zinc sulfide (ZnS) nanoparticles (NPs) was prepared by a simple co-precipitation method using methanol plant extracts of Tridax procumbens, Phyllanthusniruri, and Syzygium aromaticum. The as-prepared ZnS NPs was examined by several physiochemical techniques such as X-Ray Powder Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), UV-Visible spectroscopy, Fourier Transf...
